I’m still here.
Long time, no post…
Unfortunately my smallport engine failed due to 3 of the ball bearings pressed into the oil ways in the head becoming unstuck and wreaking havoc on the heads internals. Things being as the are, it’s getting difficult (and expensive) to source good 16V parts. 16V smallport parts seem to be the worse affected as many are now hoarding them away.
Enter the blacktop 20V.
The decision was made to go down this road and a sub 90k blacktop engine has been sourced. It’s still early days but the engine has been completely rebuilt with the addition of silvertop rods and an SQ ENGINEERING rwd conversion kit.
Anyways, I’m still here. Should be done shortly….

I’m happy with the new gold cam covers. I had the lettering done in red on one and black on the other like factory but the gold gives them a little more pop than the original smallport champagne colour.
Sabih’s widebody Beams3sge Trueno
Ricks immaculate 4agze Levin sounds amazing.
I didn’t know the owner of this Trueno but definitely loved the car.
